The IBA Proton Therapy Team is honoured to invite you to the IBA User Meeting 2022 that will be held in Belgium.
This year’s edition will be hosted by the PARTICLE (Particle Therapy Interuniversity Center Leuven) and will be held from Thursday, June 2nd until Sunday, June 5th 2022.
It will be an occasion for all of us to discuss, exchange, collaborate, and reflect on the successes as well as the present and future challenges of proton therapy.

Practicalities:
Destination and locations:
- The event will take place in several locations in Belgium.
- The scientific programme and accommodation will be in the Château du Lac hotel located on the picturesque lake outside of Brussels. 
- The site visit and a dinner will take place in Leuven, home of the oldest University in Europe.
- The welcome evening will be celebrated in the office of IBA, located in Louvain-la-Neuve, also home of a university of which IBA is a spin-off. 

Transportation
- Please arrange your own flights/transportation to arrive on 2nd of June (morning or early afternoon) and departure on 5th June (afternoon). 
- Shuttles from the airport to the Château du Lac hotel will be provided by IBA. Please let us know your travel details by 15th of April. 

Closest airport
- Zaventem: international airport - 22 km, 24 min to/ from the Château du Lac
- Charleroi: budget airlines 70km - 50 mins to/from the Château du Lac

Accommodation
Your hotel accommodation will be booked and paid by IBA, unless you inform us otherwise. Please confirm your arrival/departure dates by 15th of April (contact: elina.jutelyte@iba-group.com).

This event is organized in compliance with the rules imposed by the authorities aimed at guaranteeing the safety and health of all participants.
We will be constantly monitoring the situation in Belgium and communicate any requirements proposed by government authorities.
