Executive summary
In comparing cognitive changes after radiotherapy for pediatric brain tumors, this review reported significantly poorer cognitive outcome among patients treated with photon therapy compared with PBT especially in general cognition and working memory. The current evidence suggests that PBT causes less cognitive deficits compared with photon therapy.
