Published in the Red Journal, this review summarized recent advancements in proton-FLASH delivery techniques, including transmission beams (TB), single-energy Bragg peak (SEBP), single-energy spread-out Bragg peak (SESOBP), hybrid FLASH, and multiple-energy spread-out Bragg peak (MESOBP). Current developments in treatment planning using various techniques and planning systems were also discussed with data from published planning studies in cancers of the head and neck, thorax, breast, abdomen and pelvic.
