Executive summary
Reports of brainstem necrosis after proton therapy have raised concerns over the potential biological differences among radiation modalities.
A workshop was organized including twenty-seven physicians, physicists, and researchers from 17 institutions with expertise to discuss this issue. And the report of this workshop is published in the Red Journal.
