Executive summary
This article presents the concept of the Conformal Energy filter used by IBA in the Conformal FLASH. The aim of this approach, is to reduce the irradiation time by delivering a full 3 dimensional dose in a single energy layer rather than the time consuming delivery of multiple energy layers.
