Executive summary

This study examined the renal function of 30 children with abdominal neuroblastoma treated with PT. With a median follow-up 35 months, there was no patients developed hypertension or renal dysfunction during follow-up. There was no statistically significant change in blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine clearance (CrCl), or estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) between pre-PT and last follow-up. The authors concluded that renal toxicity was uncommon after PT after 3 years follow up.
